The Bookish Indian Sweets Tag

Hii Guys! Today I am doing The Bookish Indian Sweets Tag which was created by three amazing bloggers Charvi, Nandini and Shruti to celebrate the Indian Lit Readathon which took place last weekend. I know I should have posted it before but my schedule is messed up right now and better late than never, so here it is:

RULES

  1. Link back to either one of the original creators’ post. (Nandini, Shruti, Charvi)
  2. Include the graphic featured in this post in your post
  3. Tag a few of your friends and have fun!

HOLIGE: AN UNDERRATED BOOK YOU LIKE TO RECOMMEND

A Spark of White Fire by Sangu Mandanna. This book is absolutely glorious in every way and it deserves so much more hype and love. If you have not read this book yet, READ IT NOW!!

JALEBI: A BOOK THAT SURPASSES YOUR EXPECTATIONS

The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. I read this book last weekend for the Readathon and it was so good. I did not expect to like it as much as I did because it is very different from the books I usually read. But I loved it.

RASGULLA: YOUR BOOKISH OTP

Tea and Kalen from The Bone Witch series by Rin Chupeco. I love their story, their chemistry and just everything about them and I love them both so much.

KALAKAND: A BOOK YOU DEVOURED IN A SINGLE SITTING

PETHA: A RARE BOOK YOU OWN

I do not own any rare books as so such but my review copy of Jade War by Fonda Lee which was sent to me for the Jade War Blog Tour is a special one. For starters, it is my first physical review copy and it’s one of my most anticipated book.

SOAN PAPDI: A BOOK YOU WISH HAD A SEQUEL

I am going to say The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I know this book had a pretty good ending but there is still a curiousity in me about the future and I would really like to know.

KAJU KATLI: A BOOK YOU THINK IS WORTH THE HYPE

The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi. I love this book and I read it because of all the good things I had heard about it and it is definitely worth the hype and every good praise.

  1. Hey, those were interesting answers to interesting questions. I’ve got to Google a bit since I only know about the kite runner and the poetry one by Gill😅. It’s a beautiful post💛

  2. I haven’t read the Gilded Wolves yet but I have it and am excited to get to it so it’s good to hear you think it’s worth the hype!
A spark of white fire def needs more recognition – it’s also the book I chose when I did this tag!
