Author Interview|| Scarlett Holloway

Hi everyone! I am very excited to welcome the author of Policy of Truth with us, Scarlett Holloway. Welcome Scarlett and thank you for agreeing to answer some questions!

What is the inspiration behind Policy of Truth?

I’m not really sure if you could say there was any real inspiration for that particular book. I saw a picture of Josh Mario John that screamed at me. It was like the tiniest grain of sand in the Never Ending Story; growing and blossoming into a male MC: the Santa Muerte, but then it grew even further into an all-girl club because I ran one.

What makes this particular genre you’re involved in interesting?

It’s not the genre, it’s the fact there is no other series like it. Period.

When did you know that you wanted to be a writer?

I didn’t know, it just happened.

How do you prefer to write: Handwritten or computer or something more traditional like a typewriter and fountain pen?

I use 3×5 cards to plot it out, then I transpose it onto my computer.

Have you experienced “Writer’s Block”? How long did it last?

Yeah, I have, it lasted over a year.

As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?

Unicorns and Bunnies .. like seriously .. I did a live giveaway and had my unicorns out, since I collect unicorn (and bunny) stuffies, and everyone freaked. They wanted to know about the unicorns more than the giveaway.

What books have influenced your life the most?

None

What other hobbies do you have besides writing?

What’s that? Lol. Uhm, I race my car when I can … I have no idea.

Lastly, if you had to give your biography a title, what would it be?

How many times are you planning on screwing me, Karma?

Once again thank you so much for your time, Scarlett!! The Policy Of Truth will be out in February and I am going to be a part of the blog tour which takes place next week so do keep an eye out for it!

Until Next Time, HAPPY READING FOLKS!!
