THE BOOKATHON STORY
I have loved reading since I was five years old. I discovered blogging through my sister-in-law who is a fashion blogger. So that’s when I decided to start blogging about books because talking about my love for books with other like minded people was the best thing. Officially, I started my blog in 2015 when I was in 12th grade. But due to studies and exams I got very little time to devote to my blog. Then in 2013, I started giving more and more time. It was only last year that I devoted proper time to blogging. My love for writing about books has only grown and I look forward to it.
MY ADVICE TO NEW BLOGGERS
People in the community: Book blogging is an amazing fun especially when you do it out of the love and passion you have for books. Better than that is when you find people who love and feel for books just as much. The book blogging community is a warm and welcoming one and will always help you out. This way you can meet new people and blogging will be an even better experience.
Don’t treat it as a chore: Blogging should never be treated as a chore or else it will start proving to be a stress for you. Take a break whenever it gets too much. If your schedule is too hectic, you can reduce your posts or take a break so that it does not become a burden for you. Your blog will always be here and you need to be happy doing it above everything else.
