How I Choose My Books Tag

Hii Guys!! Happy Saturday. I was tagged to do the How I Choose my Books Tag by the wondeful Cassidy’s Bookshelf. A big thank you for tagging me- you can head over and check her answers here. Lets get this started:

Find a book on your shelves or e-reader with a blue cover. What made you want to pick up this book?

Maybe Someday- Colleen Hoover

I really wanted to read a Colleen Hoover book and this was the one I was gifted. It was my first CoHo book and I loved it so much !!

Think of a book you didn’t expect to enjoy, but did. Why did you read it in the first place?

A court of thorns and roses series- Sarah J Mass

I had first started to read this book because of all the hype surrounding it. I felt it was boring when I read the first few pages. But I read it again and this time I realised just how good this book is. It went on to become one of my favourite fantasy books ever.

Stand in front of your bookshelf with your eyes closed and pick up a book at random. How did you discover this book?

Cinder- Marissa Meyer

There was a lot of hype surrounding the Lunar chronicles. I had never read a retelling before and wanted to read this one very much. I was gifted the series on my birthday . If you’ll haven’t read this beautiful series yet, do so soon!

Pick a book that someone personally recommended to you. What did you think of it?

The Kite Runner- Khaled Hossieni

This is one of my all-time favourite books. It was recommended to me by my friend and I adore it so much. The book is amazing with such a heartfelt story-it is sure to make you emotional.

Pick a book that you discovered through Youtube/book blogs. Did it live up to the hype?

The Hate U Give- Angie Thomas

There are so many books I discovered through book blogs, and The Hate U Give was one of the best ones. It was a beautiful and simply amazing. If you haven’t read this book yet, I need you to do so soon because you’re missing out on a splendid book!

Find a book on your shelves or e-reader with a one word title. What drew you to this book?

Emma- Jane Austen

Jane Austen is an amazing author and when I saw this book and in this beautiful cover I was in love. I haven’t got around to reading it yet, but hope i get to read it soon.

What book did you discover through a film/ TV adaptation?

Harry Potter- JK Rowling

I had seen the first Harry Potter movie and liked itbut never went on to see the second one. Few years later, I read the books and loved it so much more and I could then appreciate the movies much better.

Think of your all-time favourite book/s. When did you read these and why did you pick them in the first place?

Carry On- Rainbow Rowell

This is one of my all time favourites. I think this book is worth a mention because of how fun, cute and amazing it is. I read Fangirl and I liked it so I decided to read Carry On as well and I loved it much more than Fangirl also.

This brings me to the end of the post. Thank you so much to Cassidy for tagging me. I enjoyed doing the tag a lot. I tag : Kathy @ Books and Munches || Thrifty Bibliophile || Nut Free Nerd || Reading Sanctuary. Also, anyone else who likes the tag and wants to do it, you’re tagged as well!
